I’m Nicole Honchariw.
I tell good stories.
I believe in the beauty of the details and in narratives woven through moments of magic.
I believe that some words soothe like light through stained glass and some words are the shards themselves.
I believe that good stories make people feel, and that people remember feelings above all else.
I believe that anything can be a story and that any story can evoke wonder, be transformational, and hold purpose- it’s just a matter of how you tell it.
The who, the what, the why.
I grew up writing songs and singing in recording studios before studying rhetoric, music, and literature at UC Berkeley. I lived the (not quite) starving artist life in New York; the city humbled me. I’ve traveled extensively; the world has centered me. San Francisco is my home; the west and its wilds run through my veins.
I have worked, written, and produced for a variety of industries, from fitness to fashion, from software to spirits made overnight in a lab. I recently completed a manuscript for a fiction novel for which I am seeking publication. Like others with an appetite for the unfamiliar, I’ve lived many more lives than my years suggest. My experience is ripe for your benefit.
(It’s like “kangaroo” with a “Honch.”)
